BTOA MEMBERSHIP

We welcome you to become an active member of the Buddhist Temple of Alameda. We encourage everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identification, sexual orientation, age or religious background to come as you are and join us as we each seek the path to enlightenment together.
Members of the Buddhist Temple of Alameda are also members of the Buddhist Churches of America.

VOLUNTEER AT THE TEMPLE

There are many ways you can jump in and volunteer at BTOA.
  • Temple Garden Maintenance – Tree pruning, Cleanup, etc 
  • Dharma School – Volunteers assist with teaching students, Two Sundays a month.
You can also help with our two largest events  – the annual Bazzar and Obon. Includes Booth/Table Setup, Booth Management, Cleanup, etc
  • Vacationland Bazaar, June
  • Obon, July
