ALAMEDA BUDDHIST WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION

The Alameda Buddhist Women’s Association (ABWA) supports and participates in a variety of activities and events of the Buddhist Temple of Alameda.  ABWA activities include:  preparing and serving meals for major services, visitations to elderly members, food drives for local community food banks and many other activities, both religious and social.
ABWA is a member of the Bay District Buddhist Women’s League (BDBWL) which is under the umbrella of the Buddhist Churches of America, Federation of Buddhist Women’s Associations (FBWA). The ABWA actively participates in local, national and international gatherings with a spirit of gratitude and compassion.
