Bazaar Information

The BTOA Annual Vacationland Bazaar is almost here!

June is nearly upon us—and that means the Buddhist Temple of Alameda Vacationland Bazaar is back! Enjoy two days of fantastic food, friends, games, and fun.

BTOA Bazaar Volunteer Opportunities

Want to volunteer? Help with construction setup, food prep, baking, booth duty, raffle tickets, or cleanup. Sign up online. Not into tech? Contact Yumi Yasuda [email protected] or Mary Nakahara [email protected].

Calling All Bakers!

We know our Sangha has incredible bakers! Bring your favorite sweet treats—cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and pies. Traditional Japanese desserts like mochi and baked manju are especially loved, so feel free to get creative! Refrigerator space is limited, so please avoid desserts that need chilling or have cream fillings.

Raffle tickets: Support and Win!

Raffle tickets are another way to support the temple—whether you buy them for a chance at great prizes, or sell them to your friends and family! Every ticket helps make our Bazaar a success. Spread the word, grab a bundle, and let’s see who gets lucky this year!

If you cannot drop off raffle ticket proceeds and stubs at BTOA by June 27, 2026, please mail your checks and stubs in advance to ensure arrival by June 26, 2026.
