Shigin is a performance of reciting Japanese or Chinese poems read in Japanese. Each poem (詩 shi) is usually chanted (吟 gin) by an individual or in a group.
This event is free to all members of BTOA. All attendees are asked to bring in a poem of their choosing or one will be provided to you by Rev. Zuikei Taniguchi. We welcome you to come check out our Shigin
